(Ottawa, April 1, 2010) The Canadian Cerebral Palsy Sport Association (CCPSA) is pleased to announce the selection of the national boccia team for the 2010-2011. The main competition for the Canadian Team will be the 2010 CPISRA Boccia World Championships in Lisbon Portugal, May 30 to June 10.
“The competition is fierce between high performance athletes in Canada, three athletes from our Espoir Program made the jump to the National Team and deserved their success”, mentioned, Mario Delisle, Head Coach of the National Team Program. The 2010 World Championships will be a very high caliber competition and I have no doubt in my mint that this new team will be able to succeed”.
