he Canadian Cerebral Palsy Sport Association (CCPSA) is pleased to announce the selection of the national boccia team for the 2011-2012. The main competition for the Canadian Team will be the 2011 CPISRA Boccia World Cup in Belfast, Ireland, August 18-27.
“The year 2011-2012 promises to be exciting for the boccia national team and the group coaches and I'm glad to be able to begin the season with a good mix of veterans and some new athletes with potential like Marco Dispaltro of Quebec and Kevin Smith-Worthylake of Ontario”, mentioned, Mario Delisle, Head Coach of the National Team Program. “Veterans Paul Gauthier, Alison Kabush and Tammy McLeod are back on the team. Their presence will be good for everyone. They are very motivated to succeed and to help Canada qualify for the 2012 Paralympic Games in World Cup in August 2011. We have a great year ahead!”
